Email marketing is a really really useful tool, but getting results takes some careful preparation.

It's not really practical to manage these campaigns manually, so you'll want to sign up to an email marketing platform. I have personally used [MailChimp](https://mailchimp.com/) and [Send In Blue](http://www.sendinblue.com/), both of which were easy to use and both of which have really good free plans. There are plenty of other options out there, so it may be worth doing a little research yourself.
